Pavements and tiles display the cracks and discolouration created by natural ageing as well as the marks left by accident or intervention. They are the foundation of the built environment and are one of the three main surfaces used throughout my work - Windows, Walls, and Pavements.

I've used the tile pattern extensively - from pencil drawings to collage; in prints on paper to my first inkjet wet transfer onto fresco piece, Pavement II. Whether it's the repetition or segmentation, it's often my source of inspiration when exploring a new medium or technique.
